AFSCME Sub-chapter 161

Dear member:

The AFSCME Retirees will meet at the Wildwood Tavern on Wednesday, December 14^th. The Wildwood Tavern is at 6480 W. Touhy, Niles, IL (the NE corner of Caldwell and Touhy). This is a week earlier than our usual meeting because of the approaching Holidays.

I will have news from the 4^th quarter meeting of Council 31 Retiree Officers conference that will meet December 8 & 9 in Springfield. Because of the election and the ILB’s decision on impasse, I’m going to this conference in order to bring back information on what we have to do now as a sub-Chapter.

Since this is the Holiday session, I’m planning to bring items for a grab bag. Wrapped or unwrapped, we’ll put them on a table for inspection. So, if you found a item from last Christmas. Or if you want to spend $10.00, everyone bring a gift.
