The next AFSCME Retirees Subchapter 161 Members Meeting will take place on Wednesday, November 25, 2023. The meeting will occur at Sweet Basil Cafe, 5203 Old Orchard Road, Skokie, IL 60077. The meeting will begin at noon. Attendees may arrive as early as 11:30 and should order food before the meeting begins (click here to view Sweet Basil Cafe menu). Members who attend will be eligible for a drawing for a complimentary lunch. There will be no Zoom for this meeting,

8-Speaker at November Membership Meeting, Dr. Peter Gann on Medicare and Medicare Advantage. Dr. Gann is Professor in the Department of Pathology and Program Leader for the Carcinogenesis and Chemoprevention Program of the University of Illinois Chicago.

9-Plans for December Membership Holiday Meeting. Singer and musician Andrew Carson is available. Other ideas.
