The AFSCME Retirees will meet at the Hackney’s restaurant at 1514 E. Lake Street, Glenview on Wednesday, April 17th. The meeting will begin at 11:30AM.
The next 6 months will be a preparation for the September election of new officers. We’ll discuss plans.

Because of Yom Kippur on the third Wednesday of September, I’m moving
the meeting date up to Wednesday, 9/12th. The AFSCME Retirees will meet next Wednesday September 12th at Hackney’s on Lake in Glenview. The meeting will begin at 11:30AM.
We’ll have a guest speaker from NOW. I’m buying postcards for a get out the vote action. Bring the names and addresses of people you want to remind to vote this November

Members should be prepared to give their old Local’s name and number. The following Friday-Saturday will be the Council 31 Political Conference in Springfield. This gives our attendees a chance to connect with officers of our old locals.
