The next AFSCME Retirees Subchapter 161 Member Meeting will take place on Wednesday, July 19. The meeting will occur at Sweet Basil Cafe, 5203 Old Orchard Road, Skokie, IL 60077. The meeting will begin at noon. Attendees may arrive as early as 11:30 and should order food before the meeting begins (click here to view Sweet Basil Cafe menu). Members who attend will be eligible for a drawing for a complimentary lunch. There will be no Zoom for this meeting,

Our speaker will be Lenny Lamkin, a member of the Northeastern Accountability Alliance in Evanston and a member of AFGE, American Federation of Government Employees. He will provide information about the coalition and what it is doing.
